Pilots Are How We Grow
TeamDronePro operates local pilot teams held to one national standard — currently in the San Francisco Bay Area and Greater Los Angeles, with more markets planned. Every market we open starts the same way: with experienced, professional pilots on the ground.
That's why we take applications from pilots everywhere, not just where we operate today. If you're in one of our current markets, you may be a fit for active work. If you're somewhere we haven't opened yet, you may be the reason we open there — we build our pilot bench in a market before we launch it.
To be upfront: openings depend on client demand in each market. We don't promise immediate work to anyone. What we do promise is a straight answer about where you'd stand and what the pipeline in your market looks like.
What We Look For
FAA Part 107 Certificate
A current remote pilot certificate is the entry requirement. It's non-negotiable — it's the foundation of the standard our clients hire us for.
Commercial Flight Experience
Real paid work, not just hobby hours. Construction documentation, mapping and photogrammetry, and inspection experience are especially valuable to us.
Professionalism
Show up when you said you would, communicate before problems become surprises, and deliver complete files on schedule. This is the whole brand — we only fly pilots who live it.
Local Airspace Knowledge
You know your metro's controlled airspace, LAANC grids, weather patterns, and site-access realities. Local knowledge is a core part of what clients get from us.
What You Get
Steady commercial work through an established brand
Clients hire TeamDronePro for construction documentation, mapping and LiDAR, real estate media, and inspections — including national accounts with recurring multi-market needs. You fly under a brand clients already trust, instead of competing for every job alone.
Training and QA to a national standard
Clear deliverable specs, flight and data-capture procedures, and quality review on your output. You'll know exactly what "done right" looks like before you fly, and your work will be consistent with every other TeamDronePro team.
You fly — we handle the rest
Sales, quoting, scheduling, client communication, and support run through us. You don't chase leads, negotiate scopes, or field midnight emails. Your job is the flight and the data.
How to Apply
Email team@teamdronepro.com with:
- Your FAA Part 107 certificate (number or a copy)
- A summary of your commercial flight experience — the kinds of jobs, industries, and equipment you've flown
- A portfolio or sample deliverables, if you have them
- The market (metro area) where you're based and available to fly
We review every application. If there's active demand in your market, we'll follow up about next steps; if there isn't yet, we'll keep you on file for when that market opens — and tell you that honestly rather than leave you guessing.
